Neonode, an optical touchscreen technology company based in Sweden, announced that it has opened a U.S. office located in Santa Clara, California.

The company is expanding its sales force and engineering resources to meet the significantly increased demand for its touch screen technology. In addition, Neonode has also released its redesigned website at NeoNode.com.

Neonode is a provider of optical touch screen solutions for hand- held and small to midsize devices. Neonode is offering software licenses and engineering design services that enable companies to make high functionality touch screens at a low cost. zForce is the name of Neonode's proprietary patented touch screen technology.
